I have two sony stereos one CDX-GT200 and a GT100 both of them have power but no display they will take cds and give them back but don't turn on. I tried them on two diffrent cars no luck.
Am I missing something?

nope, thats a common problem. try removing the faceplate and rubbing the brass terminals with a pencil eraser. if that doesn't do it, your display bulbs are out.
Wait a minute, do you have the red wire hooked up to an ignition source or just the yellow wire hooked up to constant 12v?

Well it all worked beforehand. I'll try that and I have to post up my new ICE install for you to inspect.

also, there is a 10 amp fuse that is located behind where the black plug goes into the back of the stereo. Check to see if that is blown.

Ok I found out what happened.
No fuse in the int. fuse box in the radio slot.
I pulled it out to look at it and never put it back, which caused me to lose it.
Replaced the fuse, and boom music. Literaly
Would the cd player even give and take discs if the fuse was blown?

That fuse is for the red or ignition wire that turns on the cd player and runs it.
The yellow wire is only for memory retention and to run the cd player so you can eject a cd without the key in the car.
