hey guys my buddy and I just swapped 05 LGT calipers and rotors over to my soon to be 91 ss. We swapped them, bled them, and refilled the fluid, and now the abs light is on and the brakes dont work until your foot is to the floor. also, when you push on the brakes you can hear a wierd noise that sounds like fluid being sloshed around. any suggestions? thanks

Any leaks? Check carefully must still be air or your master cylinder went bad by fluke.

i will definately look into that. we didnt bleed the rear brakes if that matters, but we also didnt touch them. any idea why the abs light would come on? the quick response is very appreciated.

you bled the brakes wrong or put the calipers on the wrong sides.

I was the one helping Matt with the swap.
The calipers and everything are on the proper sides. (Left is on the Left, Right is on the Right. Theres even arrows pointing towards the front)
I rebled all four brakes, twice today. Brakes feel much better and it STOPS! Those brakes are awesome. Most likely do it again just to make sure all the airs out.
BUT.... The ABS light is still on... Whys that?

There is something about bleeding the abs unit itself by shorting a pin at the diagnostic connector and running the abs pump. Try searching for bleeding abs pump. Also, by shoting the other pin you can get a trouble code telling you whats wrong exatcly. I don't know where I found that info but I know I found it here by searching.
