Anyone had this problem? I have a problem with my car and I can't tell what it is because the check engine light doesn't work. Can you hook our cars up to an OBD1 computer?

the bulb is probably out although I've never heard of that.

1) yes the bulb is replaceable. Although often when you remove the instrument cluster, the jostling kills another bulb or two. Just make sure to test them all out before completely reassembling... I speak from experience.

2) Yes, our cars can be connect to a computer. Right now I only know that RevScan can read ECU trouble codes, clear them and reset the ECU. Plenty of other software can read the ECU parameters though.
