I am just got a set of new spark plugs for my 92 Legacy turbo. Whats
the right gap of the plugs to the turbo engine??? Just read a post on
the other forums said that the right gap should be around 0.7mm, but
from the owne manual is 1.0mm-1.1mm, which is the right one???? What
happen if I gap on 0.7mm?
BTW, I got the BKR7EVX-11 to one step cooler plug!!!

is your car a turbo.........?
yes....the platinum tip plugs would already be at 0.8mm.
non turbo- the non platinum tip plug gap would be set at a std 1.1mm.
these settings are pre-set because this is the optimum gap to get strongest
spark accross the gap.
reason for changing heat range? do you do track work all the time?

Using 0.7mm is a common but modified setting for the 2l turbos (can't say
for 2.2 turbos) that use direct ignition. ie. individual coil packs mounted
on each spark plug.

The logic is that the smaller gap, reduces the stress on the coil pack
insulation. It is not uncommon for these direct ignition coil packs to fail
through break down of the internal insulation, ....and at USD75 each...
hence the logic.
