No it's like the 3rd or 4th. I'm wondering if theres a certain order to do them. I got the left out and the right rod is ready to come out but doesnt clear the middle rod.

All that redhook when we did yours made my memory fuzzy lol

Yeah.....that'd be pretty sweet if you can just swap the gear sets.

One word of caution is that you need to make sure the gear back lash and end play is set properly since you putting a different set of gears in the case. Shouldn't be a big deal, but definitely needs to be checked.

Now that I think of it, since the cases are basically the same inside. The gear set has the shims necessary to space the pinion correctly in the n/a trans. Should be ok. It worked when we did Kimo's trans.

There are going to be slight differences in the case dimensions due to manufacturing and machining tolerances. This is why some gear sets may have 3 shims vs. 4 shims, etc. You may have just got lucky with Kimo's transmission. It may be fine, but I'd still suggest checking the gear lash on the front pinion and the end play.

Ok So driving last night doing 60 at approximately 2700 rpm. That's nice.

Anyways, I started hitting fuel cut as soon as i got everything put back together. Looked at everything under the hood, and over looked everything and still could not find the culprit. Looked for hours, and decided to just hook up my stock bcs and see if that helped. No more fuel cut, Blitz settings are the same as before the transmission work. WTF EVER, i'll look at the blitz another day. But i did realize my 30 dollar prosport gauge is off, looks like i'll be replacing that as well.

Got a pretty decent set of fenders and headlights at Pick n Pull the other day. I'm officially going prefaced on my 92.

Well, Placed a bid on some JDM corner markers. Got some body panels. Getting some stuff from Stephen soon. Gonna go play with some coil packs!!
