I'm going to be in the Seattle area over Thanksgiving

Flying in Tuesday and staying until Sunday. Would anybody want to try and get together for dinner or something. I'll be staying in the west seattle area.

Let me know. I don't have any definite plans right now. Tuesday night might be a good day to shoot for, before the holiday craziness is upon everyone.

EDIT:

I'm going to put people's names on here who expressed interest in attending. Please confirm whether you will be able to attend. Plan is for next Tuesday 24th @ 6:30pm at Stellar Pizza.

EDIT 2:

I just called Stellar Pizza and they've got us on the book for 5-10 people. I'll plan to call Tuesday morning to finalize our reservation. They also asked if we had anyone under 21. There is apparently two different seating areas. I don't know if everyone is over 21, I'm kind of guessing that answer is no, but that shouldn't matter either way. If you're under 21, let me know.

Also, she said their policy is that they do not split the bill or take multiple credit cards. So bring cash....and she said they do have an ATM there. Lastly, with parties of 6 and larger, 18% gratuity is added to the check.

I would be available for a dinner Tues night. Why not something at like South Center, as most of us live in Seattle or south of there.

thoughts?

I'm taking a four day weekend so Friday or Saturday would be great.

I wouldn't want to go near Southcenter on Friday or Saturday though! That place is gonna be insane!

I'll make the effort, whatever day it is. Whoever travels the farthest(excluding Josh!) shouldn't have to buy beer! I'll buy Josh a beer to keep him happy though.

I'll just throw this out.

Since our guest is staying in West Seattle(or the area), maybe Georgetown would be a good place to meet up. However, the worst thing about Georgetown(other than it's Georgetown) is that it's being taken over by the hipsters. :?

On Airport Way, just north of Boeing Field, there are a some nice eateries. I've been to Stellar Pizza and it's pretty good. It's also easy to get to, and it's right by a park, so parking isn't too bad. Just make sure you don't get hit by a train. Plus there are no major shopping areas near by so it shouldn't be too insane.

ps - As the newb - I'll by the first pitcher!

Bah, I hate my work schedule. Wed-Sat, 2pm-12am. Guess that means Tuesday is the only day which works for me

Southcenter or the Georgetown area sound good. I agree, Southcenter is going to super suck on the weekend, and probably will mostly suck Tuesday. So I'm up for Stellar Pizza in Georgetown or if there's any other places in the area.

Let's tenatively shoot for Tuesday night right now and see if that mostly works for people's schedule.

ah, I don't think I can make it mostly because I found a nice DP in town for cheap. Cant really afford to go all the way to Seattle just for dinner as much as I would love to haha. Perhaps some other day, boys?

My issue is that I will be heading to Spokane on Thursday morning. But if more people can make it on the weekend, then plan it that way.

Maybe throw out a poll and see what day(s) would be best.

I'm starting to get busy during the weekend, so Tuesday is pretty much set for me as for when I can get together.

Do we want to meet at Stellar Pizza or somewhere else? I read some reviews about Stellar and most are good, but they did indicate there is usually a wait for food 30-45 minutes. I don't have any problem with this, but will likely suggest we try and setup a reservation. I can coordinate the reservation there if that's where we want to go. How's 6:00-6:30 sound?

Those that can/want to attend please voice any opposition or desires to go elsewhere, otherwise, let's start a head count so I can make a reservation.

If time is an issue, we could always meet at 6:30 and if people can come later, I'm sure we'll be there for a little while :)
