Time to clear out the garage and raise some cash to cover my Suzuki Swift rally engine re-build!! I have a pair of 2.2L heads with 1.8L cams and roller rockers for sale. They are in good shape and were some spare heads I had. Been in the garage 2 years so I'm going to do a valve and seal job before I sell them. Either $250 for the pair as is with the seals for you to fit or $350 checked and ready to go if I do it. Plus shipping.

Please elaborate on the roller rockers. Are they from the 1.8 like the cams? hla or adjusters?

The standard 2.2L uses the regular rockers found on most cars but I heard that the 1.8L uses roller type rockers with oil filled lifters. So I use the 1.8L cam which is different to the 2.2L cam so has to be used with the rollers rockers. I'm told using the 1.8L set up gives you a little more power and is more reliable. I've used this set up in my rally Legacy for years. Actually I got the 1.8L cams re-profiled at Delta cams for the rally car.

Any idea if the roller rockers would swap right into the 2.2 with no other changes? I like the idea of getting rid of friction with the rollers.

Hey Chris. Still available? I got your message and want to begin to get the parts together for the engine to throw into my 98 brighton wagon.

Hey Chris. The Crank and Rod in your rally legacy, were they from a Phase 2? or did you use the Phase 1 Crank, Rod, piston.

Phase II block, crank and rods as the Phase I block is different. I use the phase I pistons in the phase II block.
Regarding the heads FS. They look in really good shape so I will swap the seals and do a valve job then put them on ebay. I do have some Legacy PBR rear pads fs on ebay.

They are back on Ebay due to some dude messing me about.
I did the seals and valve job. Everything looked good. Subarus engines amaze me. If this was a MG engine I'd need new guides, seats and valves.
The heads are in good shape and ready to fit.
