Does anyone have pics of a BC-BF Legacy with a front mounted InterCooler.

does it matter how many feet of plumbing there is, how much is too much.

do you have to worry about too much heat in front of the rad, causing overheating problems.

oh so many questions most i havn't even thought of yet

Move the throttle body where the intercooler connects (or by) at the back of the engine by firewall, move it to the front of t he manifold and t hat way you get rid of all that plumbing.

I know a mechanic that has done a number of these, and will try to get a few
pics.

The less the better. The mod I have seen, involves welding a plate over the
throttle body entry point to the intake manifold, cutting and welding a new
throttle body entry point on the front of the manifold, and cutting two
sections out of the radiator frame to allow sufficient access for the
intercooler hoses... or you could turn the manifold 90 degrees, but then you
have all the miscellaneous bracket an mounting points to move.

Nope. The intercooler runs way cooler than the radiator.
