help choosing head

wich head should i get for my ej22t? i want to make serious power over 300 whp, running fmic, revtronix tunable chip(comming soon) and water meth injection ... so my ej22t head wont do... want to do the dohc conversion but dont know what to choose..
2.5 rs head... but dont think they are made for boost?
old sti head?? i dont want to do any wiring and want to keep my ecu...
and i'll need an other manifold or can keep the ej22t manifold??

Intake manifold:
If your going to eliminate or do custom PCV, go for the USDM EJ25D. It will work with the factory coil, IAC, and throttlebody.
If you want the ultimate in OEM, drop in look go with an EJ20G intake manifold. But get it COMPLETE. PCV, fuel, etc...
Heads:
Best power, EJ20K. Best availability: EJ25D, but need work to get the oil and coolant lines. Best comprimise for the price: WRX EJ20G

I'm in the same boat and shooting for the same goal! I've been told by a few good sources to also go with the ej20g heads

If you want to make power in the end, learn to do some wiring. It's part of the game.

no i dont want to do obd2 swap with newer sti head and ecu ... i want to keep the ej22t ecu with revtronix chip so need to stay obd1, and will no be better to go with 2.5 head instead of 2.0 since we are 2.2l, i think going with 2l head will be a downgrade???

and does dohc are really better than sohc built 2.5rs sohc cam seems to be good too? with turbo cam and blablabla...
i just want head that flow alot more than stock ej22t head;)

SOHC Ej251 heads aren't an option for you with that ECU. Ej20G, EJ20k and Ej25d are your choices. Oh, and Ej20R and Ej20H TT heads. Read the unspoken details thread. You'll learn a lot.

wich is the best upgrade? going 2.5l or 2l? 2l probably has turbo cam and more made for boost than 2.5 na head but..???

You can make 300whp on 22T heads and reground cams. It just depends on whether or not you are going to pony up for the supporting mods. There is no free lunch in the Subaru world.
You have a ton of other things to worry about when making that kind of power on a first gen Legacy. Clutch & driveline, fuel system, and ton of other things. Even the wasted spark ignition system struggles at that power level.

my setup is corectly built! just neeed other head! and yea coilpack i've to admit i've problem with this even at low boost... i need to upgrade this too but dont really know what it need, i've seen neon coil pack i think??
for fuel i've walbro 255, 550cc injector(will get 800cc or more soon) 3 inch turbo back, will have soon: water meth injection,fmic,external wastegate
thats why i think head upgrade is now needed! ahah
