turboing ej22?

so i got an ej22, stock with just exuast....it has 220k on it, but been well takin care of....i wanna turbo it and i know the open deck block wouldnt be best to boost, but couldnt it handle about 7-10psi? Im assuming rebuilding would be in need b4? how much would a turbo kit run me about???? YES IM A NOOB

in all honesty its realy not worth turboing a ej22, yes it can be done but by the end your looking at a $1000+ set up.
plus you can only run like 5-6psi so I mean you would probably only be liken like 175 crank hp
toss in some fresh plugs and wires, then install a nice intake, along with a more free flowing muffler, and a light weight crank pully, and that will keep you happy for a while

or just do an actual ej22t swap yep.

Ya but even swaping a car gets pricey if you can't do the wiring yourself
the best bet is to save up for a turboed car, in the mean time throw a few boltons on your legacy, you'll be surprised at how much stronger the power will feel
