Wrong forum, but I'm giving y'all credit for knowing more than me!

'01 Forester w/a bad SOHC EJ25 (threw a rod). Anyone know if the wiring is similar to an '02 WRX?

Or will it require a complete merge of the wiring harness?

It will require a merge.

Most of what you read in a "'01 Impreza to WRX swap" thread on Nasioc or RS25 will apply. Basically the same engine and dash subsystems between a '01 Forester and an '01 Impreza 2.5RS.
