Hi there! I was wondering about this "upgrade" compressor housing for a stock VF11.

Link:

I have been doing some research i have how come to the conclusion that its not that much smaller than a VF39 sti turbo.

All the data that i have crunched tells me that the VF39 is got a wee bit bigger compressor housing than this unknown housing by mear mm

My info was found at:

http://www.mx6.com/forums/1g-mx6-forced ... hotos.html

Just think of the VJ11 as a VF11 It nearly is!!!

So in posting that MX6 turbo info...

VF39 COMPRESSOR VS. EBAY NUMBER!

The VF39 compressor wheel measures 46.50mm/ 60mm OD.
The Ebay number comp. wheel measures 43.48mm/ 56.13mm OD.

I really dont know how much diff. the size matters here? If i really means next to nothing ill get it because my VF39 is near trash...

Thanks!

I just came across this yet again in the mx6 site about vf11 turbo mods.

Turbine Housings:
Don't know if it refers to a/r or trim?? But it's cast into the side of the housing.
Smaller to bigger:
VJ14/16/17 = 12r (VJ16/17 have freer flowing wheels?)
VJ20/VF10/VF11 = 15r, larger wastegate port? (*note*: the VJ20 does have a larger, octogon-shaped inlet)
VJ11/VF8/VF12 = 20r
VJ23 = larger than 20r

Sooo im thinking now.... What about a vf11 with the comp. of a vj23??? Sound crazy but cool!
