Hello there fellas,

Id like to trade my 1997 Subaru Legacy GT for a 91-94 SS. It has a 5spd Manual Transmission with only 20k on it. Its metallic navy blue with a grey leather interior and factory 6disc cd changer and subwoofer. Also has a fully functional sunroof too. It has a few dings and scratches but no dents at all on it. It has rock chips too and the paint is bubbling just a little bit on the rear fenders which is an indication of rust but its only surface rust because on the backside its strong still so its in its early stages. The GT has a blown engine and just happened tonight as i was going home and it just randomly happened. The motor was just broken in and had 700 miles on it. Has a new clutch and tires on it and just had the exhaust done with an sti axleback but will most likely keep it. Also has a new waterpump, timing belt, seals, exhaust work (didn't like the previous so changed it again),changed fluids, new clutch...etc.,basically about $2000 atleast of work. I know im not going to get a lot of money for a car with a blown engine but i would like 1200 obo and I'm flexible as i know its a car with a blown engine but i do know what I've got and I'm not going to be tricked into going any lower than I feel is needed. If your interested then text me on my cell at 703-304-7762. And please make an offer even if you think its lowballing just send something. I don't bite and ill just let you know that ill pass if its too low so just send something. Thank you for viewing my listing.

that is one sweet looking GT. if I could get another space for a non running project I would be all over this.

when you get a chance turn the motor by hand. listen for what you hear. if you don't keep it running after hearing something you may be able to replace what is wrong.

is this your only DD? it is a clean looking body. know it may sound hard but if possible you should try and if it. yet one does not know if that is possible. hope so.

be of luck. get back at me if I can help. p.s. I am let my SS go for less then 97gtguy. Bepa

That's really a good deal, especially with new tires and rebuilt tranny. If I had the means to come and get it I would, but alas I do not. I've always wanted to build one of these into a turbo car, this color too. I'm surprised your having such a hard time selling it, must be the economy.

Good luck

you no how luck can get you. this is a time like that. want to replace timing chain in tow vehicle, but my SS is taking it's turn first.

wire for knock sensor broke. while looking at it I broke a hose nipple off the coolant tank. after replacing the tank I could not get all the air out of the system. was heating several times. not to the top but still hot. next ti is the radiator that leaks.

so each time I go to replace the timing belt, my white shadow just in front.

I would like to drive down and get this. even if for someone else to own.

you will sale this just hope soon enough! good luck.

be well, Bepa

I lovr this car. It's exactly what I want to build. But I couldn't pick up a car so far away without knowing what's wrong with it. Is there any way you can determine exactly what needs fixing? What failed in the engine?

spun a bearing....and thats all we can figure out....no milky oil,no metal shavings, nothing other than that bearing as far as i see.
