Well guys here it is. I'm officially launching the site today and I'd love to get some feedback from you all.

The site can be found at http://www.thebroden.com/

There you will find an intro page basically outlining the main premise of the board.

My friend and I basically came up with this idea because guys are a rare breed. You get to a certain age and all of your friends are married off. If you are like me, you have moved to a new area as well compounding the problem of not having anyone to hang out with.

The Bro den is basically a place to make some friends, talk about guy stuff but more importantly there is a whole "In the know" section that is aimed at helping guys with women! We all know some of us need help there.

But it's not just for guys! We encourage women to join also so we can get their side of topics especially in the help sections.

So, check it out guys and please feel free to join

I'll be adding google adsense in about 6 months so enjoy this time without any annoying banners

ANY feedback is appreciated good or bad.

thats actually a pretty interesting site. Ill probably join up later on. Great idea though, and nice to actually see it put to use.

just tested using a test account and got an email right away. People have been registering without an issue so far.

The email will be coming from admin@thebroden.com, maybe it went to your spam?

Hmmm....I don't see that it ever hit my server. Unless I didn't type my email correctly. I'll check it out later and let you know what I find out.

ok let me know, I'm a little nervous because I am using windows based hosting and had do do a work around to get the emailing to work. After I had everything installed and configured I started to read that a linux server is more suited for the forum but a windows system still will work. You are making me think there may be some problem with this still.

Ultimately the site will have a regions section as it grows. I am working on setting that up currently but I've laid the foundation already with the current setup. Basically the site is designed with the intent to expand already in the design, (forward thinking at work )

Thank you all for your support! I'll take suggestions on keeping the site interesting and a place where you want to go.

I can't imagine why chicks would want to hang out there, they already have their own 'den'. Its called the kitchen!

Thank you to the guys who have joined on here. I know its a little slow at the moment but I appreciate you lingering around and adding some content! We are trying to come up with some ideas to make the site so people will want to check it everyday. Any ideas?

I became a fan on FB, haven't had a chance to do the website though....

I'd say naked chicks, but kind of goes against the theme and that's everywhere now anyway. I wish I had an idea—maybe I could use them to sell my books, too. I can design, conceptualize, and tell stories, but I can't market for shit. There's no money in a mind geared towards honesty.

Hey guys,

Just picked up the vinyl logos for my cars and the partners car. I'm not really sure where the best place is to put it though. On the sedan I'm thinking the drivers side rear door quarter glass. On the station wagon, I'm thinking the drivers side bottom of the hatch glass. The partner has an SUV so I was thinking the back glass or the rear quater drivers side glass. I got the colors to match the paint so we could put them on the glass as to not mess up the painted surfaces. so keep your suggestions to glass surfaces

Your thoughts?
