TD04/Jecs MAF question

I just rebuild my engine(only heat cycled twice).
I have a few questions....

1. I have the td04 on the car, when i had the 440's, Jecs, and revtionix chip on it would not run. the only way it runs is with stock maf, and stock injectors in(ran with 440's but WAY too rich). So for the breaking in of the engine i was just going to leave the td04 on. With stock injectors, stock maf, 06 TMIC, and no chip,
Will it run too lean under stock boost?@4500Ft elev.

2. I think i got a bad jecs maf. the car will NOT start with it on. Is there any way to test the maf with a volt meter or something?

Did you tell revtronix to tune the chip to 440CC?

Sounds like you need another JECS and it will run stock without the chip and a JECS I tried.

Try T-ing into the blue wire on the maf and grounding that wire.

ya when i ordered the chip i had it made for the 440's.

Ericem, you mean that it should run with the jecs maf on, and the chip off. or did you mean that with the chip and the jecs maf off?

Mr. Vincent, what will T-ing into the blue wire and grounding do?

Yes, it should run with the stock ECU (no Revtronix chip) and the JECS MAF, but you'll get a code/CEL, unless you Ground the Blue wire on the MAF wiring.

Also, when I did this w/the stock ECU and JECS MAF it ran LEAN with 440 injectors - Be Careful!

I would just run it STOCK for a few hundred miles, to let the engine break-in.

Get another JECS/AUTECS (SEARCH) MAF to try....I don't know how to test it.

Good luck,
Td
