I actually just have a question for you guys on here. When I went to check it out i found that the car is equipped with a catless exhaust. Is my only option to put a cat on there? Or since its pre '95 will it not matter? thanks!

Depends on where you get it inspected. Registering in NY? Most places won't actually look for the cat if it passes the sniff test, but if you take it to a strict shop that puts the car on a lift, you're going to have problems. Any car made after 1980 should have a cat, and it's technically illegal to drive the car without it.
I put a 3" hi-flow cat on mine when I bought it, no regrets, always passes. Put on a decent monolithic hi-flow performance cat, you won't notice any power loss. Cost about $100. The cat also acts as a resonator, smooths the exhaust note to a more mellow sound, less raspy.
How did the car feel when you drove it? Is it as nice as it looks in the ad? I was really tempted to go look at it.

Oooh ok thanks for the info, can you give me a link on that cat if possible? It'd be greatly appreciated. Car felt great, and the interior was very nice. I'm supposed to finish the transaction and pick it up on tuesday, so wish me luck!

Pretty sure that's crimson red perl not winestone, and yea 3 inch high flow cats can be had for 60-100 bucks, I got a magnaflow high flow 3 inch for like 65 shipped on eBay. It really quieted down my exhaust and made the state trooper happy.

as you said it all depends on where you get it inspected because here in va if it was made before 1990 you dont have to do emissions and you only have to get inspection....most places wont check for a cat when you get inspection done either.
