revtronix chip programable?

is the "select monitor" the Programable chip that everyone has been waiting for? or is there something else that is in the mix?

no that is not the chip:
"This USB cable will allow you to use a laptop computer as an engine diagnostic tool for OBD1 Subarus which support the Subaru Select Monitor (SSM1) protocol.
