to improve the car in handling department, i am also looking for a
Cusco front and rear tower bar for the BC legacies.
on Dave's Turbo centric page, i know they make one for the wagons,
but not sure about sedans.. also, do u know if they make the lower
chassis brace?

They do make a front strut bar for the older legacies. I've been told that the older legacies are not real rigid, so adding stuff will help but you're goin to still get a decent amount flex compared to newer models. If you have wider tires, the bar will probably help. The rear doesn't have one I think...I know in my legacy....the rear seats don't fold down...and there is actually a square bar that goes across the opening to the trunk. I think I have pics of it on my website. www.personal.psu.edu/jcc189/subaru/subaru.html

If you want to improve handling...get a larger dia rear sway bar, and depending if you want more get a front one too. You usually want to get a larger rear one as it contributes more to the body roll, sway stuff like that. The front one plays more into with nose diving in corners or what not....they both the job they're suppose to...the rear just seems to help more when upgrading the bars.

I got the TEIN Suspension from A&J Racing http://www.aj-racing.com here in
Vancouver. They retail for about $3000 Cdn, shocks, springs, helper springs
all 4. You can get strut bars froom cobb Tuning www.cobbtuning.com in Texas,
they do a lot of work with Legacys.
