1993 Legacy Turbo Automatic
76,XXX miles
TD04, 06 TMIC
3 inch catless exhaust
GoFastBits BOV
H&R Sport Springs
KYB GR2 Struts
2005 WRX wheels with 205 50 16 BFG Gforce Sports
Front and rear ebay strut bars
2.5RS seats
Power mode mod (manual button on shifter engages power mode)
Car includes stock exhaust (necessary for smog in CA), stock springs, and a spare set of front fenders (may need some touching up, but they're straight). Car has been taken care of and has been my baby for the last year and a half. It has been to the track (Buttonwillow Raceway Park). It was involved in an accident in June 2009, when I ran over a downed light pole in the road. Car had repairs done at Frank's Irvine Subaru in Lake Forest, CA. Still has slightly tweaked lower radiator support in the front, and the rear quarter panel and bumper cover are slightly out of shape from being hit in the rear. Airbag deployed, car has new bag but sensor still needs to be replaced, therefore the airbag light is on. Title is clean, and car is straight.
My reason for selling is twofold. The car is old and is starting to require a lot of maintenance. The dealer recently informed me that the power steering rack is leaking, and the cam seals need replacing on the engine. Additionally, the driver's side ball joint has to be replaced, and the engine has been idling rough for the past month or so. I suspect a bad O2 sensor is the source of the bad idle.
Additionally, I've always planned a transmission swap for the car, as automatics bore me. I need transportation to and from school though, and I don't have the ability to buy a beater while I work on this car. My parents have informed me that they'd rather help me pay for a newer WRX than let me put more money into the Legacy. I'd love to keep the car and do something crazy with it (my eventual plans included stripping the chassis and making a dedicated track car) but finding it a good home is looking like a smarter option.
Due to the low miles, I'd like to see if I could get $2500 for it. Always been a California car. Paint in good condition minus the bit of damage listed above. I'm open to negotiation on the price, this is just a FEELER. Not sure if I'm parting with my baby yet, but I'd like to see what people are willing to offer.
