I've read different ways of doing this. How is it done for our cars?

Is it A - an ohm reading across the two poles?
or B - an AC voltage while the wheel is rotating?

Please help. I seem to have both from a "faulty" wheel sensor. The sensor seems to mimic exactly what the "good" sensor on the other side is doing but the computer is throwing a code that its bad.
