kW to HP... or BHP

I found this one website (and EVERYTHING found on the web is always
true!), and would be very pleased if someone could explain the
difference between electric horsepowers (kw * 1,34...) and metric
horsepowers (kw * 1,36...)!
We seem to be using the metric one here in Northern Europe!

And while you're at it, what's the difference between HP and BHP?

BHP is horsepower at the wheels and HP is horsepower at the engine much like kw
at the wheels and kw at the flywheel.
as an example in anothe area, the audio industry, PMPO versus RMS

Miki-no difference between HP & BHP as far as total Hp goes-same church, different pew! BTW, i spent 30 frustrating minutes trying to re-register with yahoo in place of e-groups to again be on the legacy list. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong? I`ve followed all the prompts to no avail-HELP! ROD (No. Az.)
