Hey guys, I know someone out there has a video or sound clip of how an SS sounds with no cats and no muffler...could someone please post one if it's available? I have headers on mine and I'm thinking of going this way.

if you have 3" TBE with no cats and no muffler, its going to be rediculously loud. It will sound badass, no doubt, but its going to attract ALOT of attention, I would know. Here are some clips of my car (3" BM DP, 1 resonator, and a gutted muffler):

So basically in the video, you have the setup I am talking about only you have exhaust manifolds instead of headers and you have a resonator. What resonator are you running? It sounds great! Also what muffler are you running? It looks close to stock...I'm looking for a stock look on the back of my car, and I want some volume that it doesn't have now.

Right now, its just a Megan Racing 3" heatwrapped Bellmouth DP, the rest is all AutoSpeed made for the WRX, and the needed extension. I bought the exhaust because of that muffler. Can't do the can-can look. It looks good on some cars if done right, but just not something I want on my car. Sounds good and looks "stock", so I am satisfied with my exhaust

I too have an autospeed 3" tbe on my legacy. I like the looks of the muffler and it sounds awesome.
It takes very little work to make it fit correctly.
The resonator is to reduce/eliminate the drone you get while driving at a constant speed. I have heard a few cars without this and ow, its a must have item.
