Yeah it will fit. Only thing I could see to be an issue is the TCU, and that's a small chance....and if so, you just need to swap in the turbo legacy TCU.

This is for my daughter's car. They have 168,000 mi. on it and the tranny started shifting poorly recently. Fluid level is fine, doesn't smell or have unusual color. I put some Lube Guard additive in it and it seemed to help some. After a few more miles with that stuff in there, we'll see how it is working.

i hear that a sluggish (feels like slipping) between 2 and 3 shift can be caused by the brake band. evidently, this can get out of adjustment (although it would seem that it would get looser instead of tighter). the proposed fix is to adjust the stud which loosens the brake bands grip around a hub inside the transmission. the stud is secured with a jam nut, and is located on the left outer side of the case. loosening the locknut and turning the stud a quarter turn ccw is reported to alleviate the issue.
i understand this band is designed to help slow the car upon lifting the throttle. if i am wrong about any of this, those with more experience, please provide additional information.
