An ABSOLUTE! DMR759TB DvD player with 7" touch screen.

Good sound, it has a 4 x 80 amp wich is a step up from my old 4 x 40 watt deck. sound is pretty good with slight distortion about the time the volume begins to get painfull. clear video. My biggest complaint is the Long ass loading time. meaning every time I fire up I have to watch THIS for... 15-20 seconds.

Screen actually tips UP which is advantageous. The gearshift lever SLIGHTLY interferes with the screen movement when its in park. otherwise clears everything and doesnt interfere with coffeecup holder or Climate controls.

Placement in Automatic cars is Superb! With the car in Drive I can touch the screen with my palm on the top of the gear shift leaver!

and if Im to fucking lazy to lift a freaking finger it comes with its own multifunction 40 key remote... just make sure you spend plenty of time familierizing yourself with it before trying to use it while driving.

Video Quality... once again, you have to forgive massive load time, is supurb and playback is good with upto 8x FF speed and a Handbreak lockout so have to apply the hand break to watch movies... in theory preventing you from watching movies while swerving through rush hour traffic... though the more adventurous might experiment with the "One click up" hand break method telling the devivce the handbreak is up without it actually effecting the breaks.

It also has Bluetooth (Which I have disabled) and a built in mic so you can use it as a handsfree, wireless soeakerphone. I just use the aux jack and the phones own mic. also can use my Iphones Ipod feature through the Aux jack. Lotsa cables running around the dashboard I havent figured out how to hide yet... but otherwise Im happy.

Very nice... I was considering something like this last year, but I had a feeling it wouldn't have lasted very long in this area. Too conspicuous.

Is there any way to run 5-channel audio for movies, or does it have a simulated surround mode, something like that?

it doesnt have built in surround but it has "Dolby Digital" and is set up to be hooked to a "Mobile surround system".
