Hey I am new to the forum and I was just wondering if anyone on here knows if there are any rebuild kits out there for the EJ22e. The engine is out of my 1993 legacy and after 310000 miles it is a little bit tired. Thanks for any information.

when i did my EJ22E rebuild i stuck with OEM.

or you could go with aftermarket kits too.

check out ebay too, just do a search for EJ22e gasket kit, timing belt/water pump kit etc. changing the timing belt tensioner would be a good idea too.

hope that helps, using the search option here will open up tons on info.

Well I got it out of the car and all apart. Now it is on my kitchen table waiting for parts.

Well as of right now just an OEM rebuild, but probably with some delta cams and some headwork. And of course I've thought about trying to run a turbo but Im not sure if I have that much money to put into just the engine.
