'94 Leg SS 5 spd. What could cause the rpm's to increase when the clutch is depressed? Like from 1000 to 3000 rpm. From a standing start.

TPS out of cal./adjusted wrong, maybe?

So it does this with the car at idle and you not touching the accelerator, only the clutch? This is on your car with the Autronic?

Try depressing the switch on the clutch pedal to simulate the clutch being depressed. If it does nothing, then you know the issue probably is not related to that.

Other than that.....I'm kind of at a loss without some more info. When they did the 6spd swap....did they mess with the wiring at all? Do you have a dccd controller?

This is on the '94 SS I recently purchased. I'll try the pressing on the clutch pedal switch. Noticed that while operating the throttle linkage by hand, that it does not return to idle after rotating it, you have to push it to get it to return to idle. Sprayed it down with penetrating oil, maybe it will decrud itself.

Hmmm....yeah that sounds fishy.

What happens if you take off the throttle cable from the cams. Does the throttle plate close all the way?
