97 outback swap??

Is there anyone here that has done a turbo swap on an outback???
I have a neighbor that's wants to boost his 97 outback with a ej25d.
There's a few things that I would like to find out, what would be
needed to turbo charge this car an keep
it emissions friendly??? I know we could make a Frankenstein motor,
with a piggyback and the
obvious supporting parts. Or would a jdm ej20k be easier???
Franken motor 255-257 block with 25d heads?
