Happy 1K to me. :P

Well, the Black Peril SS-RA is safe at home with it's new owner... looking forward to watching it's further development.

Somehow, in the course of selling the car, I ended up back in posession of P-nut Butter, the '93 LS wagon I had to give away last year. :shock: Even got most of the parts back, LOL. Trans is replaced, and runs great, so she's gonna be my DD for a while. Focusing on the VW Syncro now, getting it back on the road in time for summer, with a new turbodiesel powerplant.

I have plans for the wagon, way down the road, I'd like to build another 2.5 engine, and also do a MT swap, preferrably a 6-spd. For right now, just going to clean it up and drive, at least mechanically. Cosmetically, I'm thinking of doing an Audi Allroad treatment; strip the paint from the bumpers, and paint the wheel arches and rockers satin black. NYC is hell on painted bumpers; I'd just rather have them raw plastic.
The interior has the two-tone leather seats tan/taupe, but the rest of it is all solid tan (P-nut butter indeed).
Going to put on a Nardi steering wheel, and start trying to break up the color inside. I'm leaning towards installing some black trim pieces, black dash (top only), and make a mix -n-match of the door panels, black & tan. Also kicking around using upholstery leather (great hides available on eBay) to cover the dash top and door panels, maybe even some stitching if I can get my old Singer in working order.

What I'm thinking of for the interior;

And what the future holds... :lol:

Yeah, the body's in pretty amazing shape, except for the front fenders, which are rotted on the bottom. One quarter-size hole on the left-side bumper-body joint, after I reamed it out. Everywhere else that usually has rust is totally clean.

nice jerry, good to see its gonna be staying on the road. funny how things work out. i even met a few people that looked at the SS before me, and they were disapointed they didnt buy it.

i actually have that last pic saved on my pc. its got a range rover chassis with a legacy body... pretty intense.

A solid axle Legacy? Awesome!
I think some modest fender flares would compliment your Allroad theme well and provide for wider tires or at least less-offset wheels.

I would love to find a set of lay-flat flares that fit the Leggo. The Audi has them, as do Volvo XC, etc. Nothing that really sticks out, I'm not putting low-offset rims on it.
