Kleinkid, Airgne and I all worked at Wreck Creek and Palix, here's a few pics I took. Sorry, technical and operator issues with my camera on the 1st day.

The pace car - a 91 Tleg: (worked great till the 2nd day when it wouldn't start right at the rally start)


Ken Block's Ford sounded evil, but as they tend to do, broke down (transmission failure).

One of my favorites, a 78 Volvo with a BF230 swap. This was one of their first races ever, but the guys were very professional. The 2nd day they had no-start issues, but managed to get running with less than 3 minutes to go.

I was working ATC at Wreck Creek on Saturday. There was a delay to clear a car that had crashed on Wreck Creek 1, prior to start of Wreck Creek 2. Dave Mirra, who drives on one of the two Subaru Rally Team USA cars(#40), got a chance to pose in front of my SS while he was waiting.

That's sweet. Dave Mirra was like my idol growing up riding bmx. The guy is phenomenal on a bike. His style is so smooth and dialed. Hope he does well in rally.

He did well, he got 3rd!

man that's where all the early legs go to rally eh!?! go to the New England Forest Rally every year... haven't seen a early leg in one yet!
