Hey!
I got Legacy BC 1991 EJ18 AWD MT
CHECK ENGINE always blinking me code 23 - air flow sensor is bad.
How can I check it? What alternative MAF's I can use?

Problems I feel:
1. idle speed revs about 200-500 and engine wants to die, but works and vibrates too much
2. too high revs at speed (5 gear + 85 km/h = 3000)
3. acceleration pedal reaction too slow: 2-3 sec lag

Please help. Thanks!

Could try cleaning the MAF filament with electronics cleaner... you want the stuff that evaporates and doesn't leave a residue. If that doesn't work, then off to the junkyard for another -- and clean that one too before using.

No, you can not interchange them. You need the same type of MAF sensor that you currently have.
