I picked this car up for a project almost two years ago and haven't done anything with it yet, so it's time to move on. As the title says it's a 1994 Legacy Touring Wagon (turbo), automatic transmission, 105K miles, Aegean Blue metallic paint and black cloth interior. According to the correspondence I had with the previous owner the timing belt, water pump and radiator had been recently replaced before it was rolled over.
When I bought it I towed it with a towbar to my parent's house for storage and I think I damaged the transmission in the process (I idn't really care about it at the time since I was going to use a 5spd, but in hindsight it was probably worth some $$$, oh well). I pulled the car out of their back shed yesterday (just charged the battery overnight and it started immediately) tried to hose off some of the dust that collected on it and took some pictures (turned out crappy due to using my phone camera in the bright sun). Also took it for a little test run, pulls pretty hard, has a bit of a miss, but nothing major, transmission sounds awfull in Park and Neutral, but it's still driveable as is (at least to get in on/off a trailer or in/out of the garage etc. I wouldn't drive it on public roads).
I'm pretty sure I still have the title signed by the previous owner, but I never transferred it to my name since it's obviously never going to see the road again. I'd like to have it gone pretty quickly as I have WAY too many cars at the moment, and I'd prefer to sell the whole thing at once, but until then I would consider selling off small parts that can be easily removed without making the car undriveable. I'm asking $1000 OR BEST OFFER for the car. I don't kow all that much about these cars, but I know that just the block is worth a couple hundred and I'm guessing the wheels, radiator, CD player and cargo cover are all worth something, the interior overall is in pretty good shape.
I also have a 2.5L DOHC longblock that I picked up from a guy that said it had a bad head gasket, not sure if those heads and crank are the ones people combine with thses blocks or not, but it could be worked into the deal (or sold seperately). The car is still in storage at my parents' house about 2 hours south of the twin cities, but I could easily tow it back to Minneapolis or deliver it within maybe an hour or so of there.
