anyone thought about trying this or tried it? ive been tossing the idea around for months cause i like having as much light as possible for saftey and to see more at night. i have a 99 eclipse headlight i got off a friend years ago and ive taken it apart, cut the blinker area off, and mocked it up on my car but never tested it. i do like the look of the eclipse headlight on the car, it gives it some attitude in my opinion. i do have the wiring harness from the plug to the light bulb sockets, fyi i did put some gorilla tape on the top of the light to fill in some of the gap between the hood and light bucket assembly. the only thing i cant figure out is how to one, get both lights to work and, two, how to wire it in(like what wire goes where in the H4 headlight bulb connecter)

anyone got advice on how i could make this set-up work?

These cars use a switched ground type setup. You would need to find out which ground lead is for the low beam, and which is for the high beam. You would then tee off the 12v source and run it to both head lights, and then run the appropriate switched ground to the low & high bulbs.

Josh, would you happen to know which color of wire does what? i looked at the wire colors and theres a yellow, red, and red with blue dots. do you have any idea which ones do what(like which one is ground, low beam, and high beam)?

As I mentioned, the setup is a switched ground setup. So there's actually going to be two ground and one common 12v. I fixed the link above, which may help.

The wire colors you mention don't match the book diagram.

Do you have a multi meter or test light? If not, I'd highly suggest you get one. If you have one, you can test each pin/wire to determine which one does what.
