Did the NA cars come in the pearl white that my 91 is? I want an NA hood in good condition for when I put a front mount on my car.

I 'think' the Pearl White was an SS color, as I have one on my '90....I also have the original (arctic?) white hood, if interested.

I was afraid of that. Hmm. Maybe I'll just have to settle for an SS hood with good pearl white paint. Artic white is a drastic difference, believe it or not. I put one of those artic white door handles on my car and it was night and day difference.

there are pearl white non turbos out there, just not very many of them

Arctic White is a single stage paint, interestingly enough.

I *think* I remember seeing a '90-'91 LSi sedan in the Pearl white a few years ago in a JY. It stands out in my memory because it had everything. Leather, sunroof, auto A/C, trunk spoiler, alloy wheels, tape w/factory equalizer, power antenna on the rear panel, etc....possibly even air suspension. Too bad I was too broke at the time to strip it out.

Clarifiaction...I saw the LSi and options for sure....I *think* it was pearl white.

just get an NA hood in whatever color you can find and have it painted. shouldn't cost much.

Yeah, it would cost probably $300 to have it painted. Plus the cost of the hood but the problem is, the rest of the paint isn't in that great of shape so I'm sure it will stand out pretty bad.

$300 to paint a hood?! where did you get that price? maaco will respray the whole car for $300.

one of my friends' 91 SS has a maaco paintjob and its honestly not bad at all. and on a 1991 car thats not worth a whole lot of money, its not worth it to pay a lot for a paint job.

Haha, MAACO! You get what you pay for. I would never have them do any work on anything of mine or anyone I care about.
