Retainer Clip scrapes rotor

Hubby changed the rotors and disc pads. Heard scraping metal as wheel went around. Thought we had this noise before and let it go a week to see if any changes.

No change. We got tires today and the tire place said the retainer clip was scraping the pad.

background: This was the wheel that got hit and run by a St Paddy drunk driver 2yrs ago. Used wheel hub was replaced by mechanic. Legacy has ABS brakes.

If the retainer clip is scraping, how is that adjusted?

Seems like he bent the clip when changing the pads. Replace the retainer clip, or bend it back into the correct shape.

X2 most likely it was bent when reinstalled if it didn't do it prior to brake replacement

Hubby was able to bend the splash shield back and no scraping since. Probably bent when he took it off.
