Engine Swap question

Ok so i've got a 99 legacy but i'm really trying to do an EJ22 turbo swap, but built as close to the prodrive built legacys that they used to rally. In order to do this i'm trying to locate a spec sheet/ some sort of build guide that prodrive might have made to guide me in the right direction. If any one can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks- tom

Welcome to the BBS Tom.
I'm guessing this car will not be a road car? Can you provide some additional details as to what you're ultimate goal for the car is. I'm not sure if you're going to find a spec sheet like what you're looking for, but if you can provide some info as to what you're ultimately looking to do, maybe others can provide some input.

Actually this car will be my DD. I'm pretty much looking to do a swap, but not a rex or an sti swap because around where I live everyone and their rich ass brother has a wrx or an sti and they think they're so cool because they put an exhaust on it and got some "sick wheels", But back to the point, I just want to be able to pull up next to some kid driving a rex and beat him. Also I just want to a have a completely different swap then anyone else. I'm shooting for around 250-300whp. Probably gonna use a VF39turbo. Other than I'm pretty open to any opinions about how to what/how to get this done as I am just really getting into cars so my knowledge is limited but I want to take my time planning the build because I want it to be well thought out, fast, and as reliable as a swap gets.

Do you think if I called prodrive they would help me out?

If you want to be beating WRX's, why not do a WRX swap, ie. heads & wiring, and use the EJ22T shortblock? That's what lots of 2.0L wrx guys used to do before the 2.5L STI motor became common.
Otherwise, there are essentially no tuning options besides wiring in a standalone (or rewiring your car to accept a WRX ecu and have robtune program a chip for you).
Prodrive is a really private company. If you do contact them, ask 'em when they'll release the P2.

I'm really not sure how you want to make your 2nd gen legacy like a 1st gen prodrive legacy. 1st of all, they used a 1st generation Legacy! 2nd, they used a closed deck EJ20 block, so your plan for an EJ22T is straying further from a "real" prodrive. 3rd, they use a £35,000 transmission (according to an interview with David Lapworth from Prodrive) with active center and front diffs (in the 92). I recommend you take a look at the cheesy but still cool documentary "The Subaru Impreza Story" (2000), now available to download at Piratesbay or on ebay.

Yeah I was talking to my friend about it and he was saying pretty much the same stuff, use wrx or sti heads and wrx ecu so it can handle the boost. And haha I definitely will ask them about the P2 cause they are freaking nasty. And 1- I'm stuck with a 2nd gen, if I could pick up a 1st gen shell I would. 2- I feel like the EJ22t would be more reliable. 3- yeah that would be nasty to have but I'm a broke college kid, there some parts about this I wont really be able to do, like a boost canister and anti-lag. Well I'll probably try to get anti-lag eventually. And i'll check that video out. Thanks for your advice man.
