hey guys i picked up a td06 20g and i test fitted it onto the up pipe, and man the spacing is freakin tight on the intake!

I tried search "tid" or turbo inlet duct on the intake forum but only came up with the coffe cup mod thread.

Does anyone know any place that makes an intake elbow that will fit on an ss?

I saw these http://www.turbohoses.com/90%20degree.htm but im not to sure if it will clear the intake manifold.

anyone care to help me out?

thanks

might be best to mod the turbo bracket as to allow its positioning a little farther back?

you should convert to under the manifold

I know the spacing for my TD05 was very tight, but do-able in the uppipe area. I can only imagine that extra little bit from the TD06 basically makes it impossible with the stock locations.

If you're set on the turbo, you can try having a 90 elbow welded on, the tight/short radius 90 you linked to, or as mentioned above, you'll have to modify either the turbo mount (Rotated) or go under the IM.

I had a TD05-18G on once and it was probably as big as I could go, and that TD06-20g makes the 18g look like a VF11. :-)

I found this on NASIOC-td06 20g vs td05 20g:

I don't see that beast fitting in there.
