Length of ignition wires?

I went to change my ignition wires today, but for some reason the lengths aren't matching up, 3 of the wires on the car are the same length, one slightly longer, whereas the Bosch wires are all different lengths. How are the stock wires supposed to be set up?

They're supposed to all be pretty close, except the #4 wire is about 2 inches longer since it has to go around more stuff. The lengths specified in the factory service manual are:
Cylinder #1: 540mm
Cylinder #2: 550mm
Cylinder #3: 540mm
Cylinder #4: 600mm

Sweet, so the Bosch ones aren't right then, odd, but thanks
EDIT: Neither are the Duralast...Or the ones I had...Or the others(I forgot which) that I ended up leaving on. WTF? They're all different from each other too, the ones I left on were the closest, one wire was just 1cm too long

I've read and been told (on the USMB) that the lengths don't matter - as long as they reach. More important seems to be the quality as Subies are picky about plugs and wires. Best to stay w/the Subaru wires....no, I don't work for SOA.

Yeah, the length isn't crucial from an electrical perspective; it's just so they fit.
NGK makes the OEM wires for Subaru.
