Joe,

If you look at the wiring diagrams they will have the wire colors on them. For example this is the engine electrical diagram from my write-up.

http://www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/fil ... rical1.jpg

B48-20 is Black with a white stripe.

Also, regarding the ECU I-O diagram,

http://www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/fil ... _page1.jpg

that diagram is laid as if you are looking directly at the ECU, kind of like this.

-Thanks guys. This is making a little more sense now.

-Thank you very much. Wire is now snipped.
turbo970 wrote:what year of scoop? and how is the back held down
-Its just off a 02-03 wrx. First I tried double sided sticky tape and that held for a bit, till the sun makes the hood hot.
-Its now screwed and bolted down. Since the hood is already damaged, I went ahead and cut the hood to get full air flow from that scoop. I have a couple bolts in the back, which i do need more cause when its hot, the heat warps the scoop, and three screws holding it in the front. I'll have to get some pics of it now that its different then what I had it.

-So here's the mod list and what I've put into the car within this last couple weeks:

-2002 transmission, pedals, clutch, lsd diff, heat shield, hood scoop, etc.
-Group N trans mount.
-92 manual driveshaft.
-kartboy short shifter and bushings.
-Newer style motor mounts.
-hks carbon ti muffler.
-hellatone horns.
-svx airbox.
-Obx rear strut tower brace.
-2006 seats and steering wheel. Still have to put the back seats in and modify to rear speaker covers.
-gr2 struts with eibach lowering springs.
-Whiteline caster camber top hats.
-Grimmspeed manual boost controller.

-All I can think of here at the moment.

How do you like the whiteline caster top mounts?

I love seeing that when others do the MT swap they leave the boot off the shifter. Mine was like that for a while :)

It gives it a nice "race car" feel :P

-So far so good on the caster top mounts. It really feels like I have more front end grip, almost feels like sometimes the back end might come out on me. Time for some sway bars.

-I've been waiting on the shift cover to see what other options I have as far as center consoles. Got my eyes on this STi cover but don't know if its console would be a fit. Not sure what I'm going to do about it at this point.

-I had a AFR question. With the car at normal operating temperature, at idle (800ish rpm's), I'm at 14.7 to 15.0 in afr's. Is this normal? I ask cause my car smells really rich. I know I don't have a cat. and that has some to do with it but this just seems different. I also got piss poor gas mileage last tank but thats kinda besides the point.

-On a brighter note. I finally got the bov I've always wanted, a GFB Response. Like it, sounds great!
