2 wire 95 alternator into 3 wire 94 sport sedan?

what needs to be done to make the 2 wire alternator from a 95 legacy work in my 3 wire 94 sport sedan?
which wire is the one that needs to be abandoned?

The larger of the three wires just needs to be taped up and folded back into the wiring loom. It's the turn-on signal to the alternator. The 2-wire uses RPM to turn on.
Use these diagrams to hook up the wiring. S is for sense and L is for light.

I don't know off the top of my head which one is sense and which one is light for the newer two wire alternators, but you should be able to find that out from mr. internet.
