What's good. New member here from ON, Canada. Recently acquired a '93 legacy awd turbo 5mt for $400cad :-D

Needed a clutch badly, barely made it home, avoiding any stops on hills  ripped the engine and trans out and ordered a clutch asap. In the mean time I modified the stock shifter into a short throw, and fixed a few odds and ends here and there. This car will be my winter beater/DD. Anyways on with the pics...

When I first got it home

Also, for the lulz..

Since this is my winter beater/DD, my "old" DD is now my full-on project car. My '90 Volvo 240. Heres some pics..

Epic pic from todays autocross

Some details about the 240..
stock B230 non-turbo block
eBay .50/.48 A/R T3 turbo running at 15psi
ported stock turbo manifold
volvo intercooler
K cam w/ adjustable gear
chipped turbo ecu & ezk
full 3" mandrel bent exhaust w/ cat & muffler
modified Eaton G80 locker
racing seats
2-speed electric fan
dual rear sway bars, adjustable front endlinks
cut spings (for now)
$2 adjustable strut brace
shaved all trim, john deere blitz black paint
ect. ect.

It's pretty damn quick once its fed boost  Planning to fully build a 16v b230 (already got the 16v head) aiming for 400+whp. Make custom coilovers, and some other suspension goodies, gut it more, cage it, put in a ford 8.8, etc.

Anyways, that should be enough pics for now. Really digging this site and the people here seem really friendly :D

I love those Volvos! I originally wrote one into my second and third novel that had a small block painted like a Volvo-Penta V8 and blue bottom paint for the undercarriage.

Thanks, the turbo is holding up great actually :) I have yet to hear of anyone having problems with these "newer" style china turbos lol.

Wasn't sure where to post this or if it's even worthy of its own thread.

Bought some 4-1/2" 100W halogen lights for some auxiliary lighting on the SS.

I could not be happier with the results. It's really nice for driving down back roads at night haha, and hopefully they come in good use for other things as well.

Heres a crappy with and without shot to help show the difference.
Low beams.

low beams, with all 4 aux lights on
