Installed fogs today and painted my grill.

Image

This is the stock mounting plate that held the plastic in. I used it to mount my lights.
Image

I mounted the lights using the holes in the middle, now there was only one screw that would hold this on and it was floppy. SOOOO.... I took 2 5mm nuts and threaded them onto the 2 plastic nubs at the top of the fog hole. If anyone else does this dont tighten them down to hard or they will strip out.

ALL DONE! :smt023

The grill looks sweet too. This process took 2 hours inclulding all the wiring.
The light are neat, they have a Blue halo ring on the outside that I hooked up to the turn signals. The halo flashes too when I make a turn. Of course I used a relay and fusable link also.

I bought the 20 dollar 3M headlight rest. kit at napa today. The kit was easy to use and simple. It attached to my drill. My lights were nasty yellow before this too. While I had the hood open I re-sprayed my TMIC and then finally took pics of the new exhaust.

I did the left first and compared

Found some pics today. My old Brat that I built and my CRX that ran in the high 9's.

Image

Built the moon JDM B17 with a JDM b16 cable tranny, LSD, skunk 2 intake. 66 trim snail on a custom stainless exhaust, small 4 core radiator, too much crap to list. And made custom traction bars for the front can see it in the engine bay pic.

looks like dollops of fun my man! this summer i'm planning to boost a b18b LS that my friend owns.. will probably use an ebay kit and a chipped ecu with crome, but options are open at this time.. he sourced a T04e .60 for 400$ but i think that's far too much.. know of a few people that have good experiences now with the chinese turbos so i figure we'd give one of those kits a shot, and the other hitch is I think the to4e is too big for trying to make 250whp max on the b18.. suggestions otherwise??

How do you like the transmission? That is the exact same one I am thinking of getting for my rally car. Except I would have a DCCDPro aftermarket controller for the center diff.

Right now were estimating 300 wheel horse. I have a chipped and tuned custom ECU. I already raced a 05 STi that wasnt stock and beat em. Ill post final numbers when I get my next tune.

I love this transmission. Runs a little high on the highway but the 4.44 is awesome. super quick out of turns. I havent got my DCCD hooked up yet, theres a guy here in Bend thats a electical genius that made a controller for DCCD. Has one on his car and says it works great. Only 100 bucks so I might go with that.

All the mods are at the top of this thread. It's a MY98 JDM version 3 RA/Sti swap. Factory they are 320 bhp per an unspoken gentlemans agreement. If you want I can link ya the specs and info on it.

So far yes. Its got way more HP now and I am almost where I want the engine power to be at for a daily. Gunna do bigger injectors and rails then Im done with upgrading the engine. move on to cosmetic and suspension. Plus when I open the hood peoples reactions are great when they see the swap.
