Just got signs of my heater core going bad, steam from vents, and coolant in my passenger side carpet. i saw a 04 sti heater core for sale and was just wondering if it would fit? or if the shop could fit it for me? any help let me know, i need this fixed fast, my defrosters dont work and winter is coming!

You have the size of the 04 STI?

Not sure why you wouldn't put in a NEW heatercore, because you have to take the whole dash out to replace it. Major PITA. Why waste all that time/effort only to have the change the used core will go bad next year?

I would venture to guess it's not going to be a direct swap.
