Looking for EJ20H timing belt part number.

I have been looking online for an exact genuine factory part number for an EJ20H timing belt number. But have not found anything solid. I thought since a few people on here have torn these engines down, it would be the best place to ask. The motor is in a '95 GT Twin Turbo.

I kinda need to know for sure. The car belongs to a friend, and he wants to take it to get the timing belt done but they wont do it unless they get the exact number. They cant obtain it from the vin, because his vin is only 8 characters long on his car, not the 17 characters we have on the north american cars.

I'm pretty sure all the DOHC timing belts are the same. I am going to use a WRX one for my ej20h/ej22t hybrid.

One of the mechanics at my Subaru dealer is from England and has worked on his fair share of twin-turbo engines.
I inquired about my own car, and he insists I can use an Outback EJ25D timing belt.
WRX/STi timing belt may be different, I want to say the cam sprockets are a different size. I don't remember for certain though.
You can always count teeth.

There is a fantastic thread on Nasioc about DOHC timing belt changes. All DOHC timing belts are the same. If you look online you will find that you can get a high quality Gates racing timing belt for cheaper than a dealer STi belt.
FWIW, I'm running EJ20H heads and a Gates belt meant for an STi.

Awesome news, I will try and search a good place to get the Gates belt, as I have heard good things about it as well. Thanks for the info.
