anyone have a blue legacy with black with red lipped rims on their car?? i may be going and buying a set of black kazera kz-x with the red lip and i would like to know what it looks like before i go get them. so if anyone has a picture. it would be very helpful. it would be nice if it was a picture of a 94 legy but i wont be picky.

Don't know what color blue you mean, but I personally love dark blue with red accents. Here's my dresser:

my car color is the Aegean Blue Metallic. i would like to see the affect on a car. but that does look pretty cool. i found 2 cars on google images blue with the red lipped but i would like to see it on a legacy...

do you have photoshop skillZ? well honestly you might even be able to pull it off in paint. just get a side shot of your car and resize the wheels to fit on. It won't look perfect, but it should give you a slight idea.

true. but no i do not. i dont even have photoshop. unless id try. i may just hope for the best when i get them.

Sorry, i gave it a shot, but i don't have photoshop installed right now so it looked like garbage. probably would have looked bad even if i had photoshop. if i have time tomorrow at work i'll give it another go.

Even something like gimp or paint.net should be able to do it. you just need layer abilities.

Thanks, it's kind of a cool color, though mine's faded a bit. Matching it is a pain. One of my fenders got attacked, and the wing had to be painted to match. I have to paint a mirror and perhaps the grille as well. So i'm not sure how that's all going to go.

id try my best for it to be perfect. that color is awesome! you have any more pics of that car? also that wing off of a impreza?

I have a few, but i'm waiting to take better shots when the grille is on. There's a 15% tint now as well.

The wing is from my buddy's 2002 wrx, it's not quite as elegant as the ss wings, but i'm pretty fond of it.

Also I have another question for you. Would you put those rims on your blue car?

I think it looks good, i'm just not fond of red in general. If they had an orange stripe or a yellow stripe it would be really rad. If you could accent something else the same red to carry the them through that would look pretty good.

Like the brake calipers? Or what do you think? Ik my side markers are tinted so much they look red when lit. Haha I'm getting these rims real cheap. And they are practically brand new. Ive never ha nice rims on a car before so I'm kinda excited.

And personally on the grill I'd paint it black. And do the mirrors both black.

Not the calipers, but i'm not really sure what. maybe a legacy central sticker in red!

Thanks for the opinion on the paint! I'm thinking of painting the chrome piece on the grille body color, but i'll have to photoshop it first to see what it looks like.

And i'm kinda elitist, the black mirrors (unfinished plastic) are on the L models. Mirrors that are the body color are on higher level models. It's just a trim thing, but i kinda want to stick with it. I was thinking of going black on the mirrors, it would be so much easier.

So decals? I like decals. Lol and ah ic yeah painted mirrors would look better. The more I thought about it they would. And I'd just do the grill black but that's me.

sweet. thanks for the input. yeah, contact slodrive about decals. i'm pretty sure there's a huge thread about it in the parts shed. last i spoke with him in november he was on vacation. i'm not sure if he's back or not but he said he'd get back to me when he was available.

You could do the chrome molding strip in red as an accent to go with the wheels.
