I have a blown EJ20G(closed deck) 89-91, the first gen engine, and I don't know where to buy parts.
Where can I buy pistons and rings? gaskets and bearings for this kind of a motor.
Also if you have anyone has any good information on this engine, manuals, tourqe numbers etc.

Welcome to the BBS.

A pretty solid bottom end build for most of the subaru motors are Wiseco pistons with Eagle rods, and ACL bearings.

Where are you located?

Check out the stuff you need to know forum. I've got a sticky in there with links to various manuals, including a complete no-USA 92 Liberty (Legacy) manual, which should cover all the engine stuff for your EJ20G.

I located in iceland.

The piston stroke and bore is 3.62x2.95 like on the EJ205. Can I use those pistons?
Is there any specific company that I can contact that specializes in these old engines? It will save me a buttload of money if I can order all things from the same place and get all the parts at the same time.

Wiseco has an application for the EJ20 prior to 98, so you should be able to get pistons from them.

The .020" over kit's part # is K576M925. They do have a .040" over kit as well if you're needing it.

As for one company, short of having someone build the motor for you, which I don't know if you want to do, I personally think you're better off getting specific parts.

In this post I list where I got all my parts.

I don't know if you'll be able to find them locally. You may want to check with the importperformanceparts place to see if they ship overseas, if they do, see if they can get all the parts you need.

I will do the assembly myself, it shouldnt be a problem with all the new information.
The eagle rods, are they the same in the ej18,ej20 and the ej22 ?
Will the center thrust bearing be a problem with the rods? It's different on the old EJ20G then the EJ205/7, right?

Yes, they're the same rod on the ej18, ej20, ej22, & ej257. You can see that Eagle lists the same part # for all those motors.

Center thrust bearing should not be an issue.
