That's what I'm saying. Somehow we both speak the same language as our first (and probably only) language but yet I can't understand a lot of the things they say. I wonder if they have the same problem with us?

The guy that is supposed to have a Subaru definitely does not have a Subaru, that's an older white Toyota Corolla.

Its the original middle finger. The gesture originated with English longbowmen. They would taunt heavily armored knights, holding thier fingers up in a "V" Emulating the draw hands grip on a bowsting (I can kill you with two fingers) and allegedly The taunt "pluck you" (pluck meaning to draw and release a bowstring) was the origination of the modern "fuck you".
I suspect his holding it upside down is a more modern "gangsta" version of the old gesture.

In Australia and UK, it's like the finger. Where the finger is basically calling someone a dick, I think that sign is calling them a twat, but I might be wrong. There was a big laugh when Bush went to Australia and gave everyone what he also thought was the peace sign. I think the peace sign also faces the other way. . . or maybe that's the victory V, I don't remember and I'm too lazy to Google it.
Ah, the above was posted while I was typing. Sounds like a better origin.

I had heard the exact same thing although slightly different
I heard that was the origin of the single middle finger because some king cut off a bunch of bow mens fingers when caught since they were like the modern day sniper at the time. So yeah if they escaped capture they would show the middle finger that they did not get cut off but It does make a lot more sense with the 2 fingers since I've tried longbowing and it wasn't with the use of only one finger on the drawback.

I thought maybe it was an old RX Coupe, but when I saw Twin Cam 16 Valve I realized that it was not a Subaru. No EA engine was offered DOHC or with 4 valves per cylinder. Deff not a Subaru.
