Strut tower width

I was curious if the width between the strut towers on a 02-07 wrx are wider than our 89-94 legacys.

The reason i ask is because i plan on buying 02-07 coilovers and drilling new holes to mount them correctly on my car and wanted to buy the cheap ass ebay combo strut bar kits to use as my guide for drilling the holes in the correct location. and if they're the same width then i may just keep them on the car.

You can always get width adjustable ones. I have a Cusco knock off as my rear bar and the width is adjustable.

yeah i know there's the rear adjustable bars, but the fronts are more of a concern beause just about all of the bars you see for the front for a gd are shaped for the tmic... which means they're not adjustable. i guess i could cut the bar in half and tal it on both splits for an adjustment

Oh, yeah. Forgot they don't go straight across on the front.

THe wagons were supposed to have the same front track width as our cars. I don't believe there is a different front bar type between the WRX sedan & wagon.....so they are likely the same width as our cars.
