Hey just wondering if someone could give me some specific details on how to get the ebay 06-07 lip to fit on my 92. I just started to try a little bit ago and it kinda looks like it wouldn't fit. But I know people have it on their 92's. I know you have to cut small chunks out to bend in the sides a little.
So please someone give me a nice good detailed description on how to do it. It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Looks like you did a fine job sir. I messed mine up somehow and it bends up in the middle. Lame.

Easy. Just get a bunch of self tapping screws and bolt it on. Cut out a couple triangles from the corners to help it bend since the sides stick out a lot. Use a heat cut to help it bend nicely. Then trim the ends to fit the bumper.

Kimo, mine started to bend up as well right in the middle, so i made a bracket for it to straighten up again. Now it looks swell.

Thanks guys

I just bought a bunch of 1/4 inch and 5/16 bolts, washers, and nuts to use, did you guys use the existing holes? I drilled new holes to get it to fit how I wanted it. Didn't use a single one of the existing holes. I didn't use a heat gun or anything either. Just cut triangles from the bends on each side and the trim the ends to match your bumper. I had 2 friends helping and a lift which helped a lot. Doing this by yourself would be a pain in the ass lol. It isn't perfect, but I'm very happy with it

Yup I do everything solo. No lift just a floor jack. None of the existing holes are in the right places to mount it properly to our bumpers.

any particular type of self tapping screws you went with? 1/2" length would work, right?

1" black self tapping screws and I believe they came with the lip. I bought another lip from a different seller this time I think so we'll see what I get. Should be arriving any day now.

It works. I used drywall screws to fit my gf's rear lip on her 2000 LX Civic. Worked excellent.
