So i have installed a AEM FIC/ Fuel Ignition computer into my car about 6 months ago....

And its PERFECT! and when i mean perfect it mean perfect for my needs. Tho i have not tuned a thing it runs perfect! I can start my car in -35 below zero and have no running issues at all.

Ill keep on the update as i stuff in parts like injectors and stuffs.

For now tho i will post a data log for your people to look at. Just open it in a spreed sheet program.

Its a highway run with stock tune. All i have done to the car is a TBE

What were you running prior to putting this in? Were you having any issues or problems prior to the AEM? Was this upgrade to address certain mods you already have, or was it kind of a install this, and then upgrade?

I'm assuming this is a piggy back?

As for stuff i have been running before the install is just a TBE. I knew from years of being a forum banger here, that if i were to do any sort of turbo or injector business that the car would have some issue that would hurt drive ability.

As for problem before install...Zero. Just the regular poor fuel eco. But i really dont car.

My reason for this piggyback ecu was to be able to trick the factory ecu with other high output parts.

For my setup i will be running, would totally kill the stock ecu.

My mod list is as followed:

550CC yellow top injectors with 90 legacy NA rails
VF39 off 04 STI
JECS maf off 98 outback
AWIC

So ya to control all that would be a hand full without some sort of tuning.

As for who lead me to this was SLODRIVE. His build thread was PERFECT to make this piggyback. I mainly give him all the credit.

For stuff this thing can do here is a link to the box on there site.

The plan for my car is to be FASTER than most sti's in my area.

OOOO did the file work aswell. Because whenever someone downloads that file i get emailed soo i assume it was you.

Im going to install all of them asap as soon as i get some time.... Being a subi tech is not easy in the winter... But HELL my car fly's its like having a uber intercooler! Kinda thinking of upping the boost

Because i can do that now cuz of the AEM FIC full control of the wastegate and map and maf. TE HE

If anyone has any Q's ill answer asap!

Are the 550's from the US STi? If so, you will need 92-94 n/a rails. The 90-91's are different.

To tell ya the truth i really dont know what the hell the rails are out of. All i know is my injectors are from a 04 STi.

Though i have them in rails already. Here is a pic of them.

Those are 92-94 n/a rails. The 90-91 n/a rails have the injectors angled in like the turbo legacy rails. So those rails will be fine. Here's a pic of the 90-91 n/a rails.

Asfor the FIC itself i used this exact FIC from the AEM web page.

Its the universal kit. So you need to make all the harness connection.
