How do u check to see if they are bad. Im in the market for a power steering rack and i was wondering how to tell if my tierods are bad. Im sure it would be a good idea to just get new ones anyways, but i would like to know. Thanks for the help guys.

if you lift the car off the ground and you shimmy the tire left and right and u see play or feel play in the outer tie rod. usually up and down can possibly mean wheel bearing too.

That will show you either inner or outer. If there's any play, look to see which one it is.

Will the inners make a little bit of a clunking noise when u get under there to check them out.

Yes not to much noise but if you have someone else do the shimmy you can find the one that is bad a lot quicker by seeing where the movement is

Weel i had someone just kina rock the steering wheel back and forh wothout moving the wheels and it didnt move much but there was a little bit of play and a little knocking noise from the inner tierod. The out tierods seem fine. Also should u beable to grab the inner tierod and twist it at all? Both my brother in laws and mine kinda twist just as far as the outer tierod would let me twist it and the outer tierods seemed pretty squishy but they dont have any play. Are the outers still good.

I don't think it works if you just turnthe ateerig wheel I think you need to move the wheel itself

Yes the inner tie rod ends are in a spherical ball which allow them to move around.
Here's a couple pictures
